Five years ago I registered the domain ethereal-imagery after a late night of stimulants and brainstorming. I needed a more serious name for my art site, and I needed a new look. Four years ago I finally got off my duff and cranked out a crude new site design, something I admittedly had zero experience with. Features were trimmed back, others on the list to add. Life, jobs, time... everything seemed to work against me and though updates continued the evolution of the site did not.
Today I live in New Zealand, Aeoteroa, and I finally found a great job working in the online industry. Now, more than ever, I realize just how exciting the web can truly be and just how badly this place needs a change. I've done a lot of talking through the years about widgets and whatsits and flashy new gizmos that I wanted to add here. As it stands right now there is very little about this site to lure visitors here and keep them coming back.
Is anyone reading these updates? What images that I've shared are the most popular? Where are my visitors coming from and how can they get in touch with me. A while back I started tossing the term web2.0 about, and it's high time I start moving that direction. Ethereal-Imagery will cease to exist in the coming months and a new monster will take it's place. Till then, enjoy the art updates. They're more frequent nowadays! |
